A journeyman of the Mirrorwrights, and Valentro's best friend. They have a standing weekly hangout, and Wylks owes Valentro twenty coins from a disastrous date, which Valentro never mentions.

The night Maruk Grommarg's effects were released, Valentro brought him the lantern from the satchel — Warden issue, its front lens replaced with a disc of mirror glass soldered true into the original ring, silvered side facing inward, the bevel ground back to raw glass and not flat, cold and staying cold. Noname came along. Wylks looked at it, said he would examine it and report back if Valentro will forgive his debty (which Valentro agreed to), said he wanted more time and a proper bench, and asked to keep it overnight.

Noname agreed. As of the end of the session he is alone with an unregistered piece of optical work.
