Ottilia runs the pan at the Fenn stall, partway up the Overlook stair. Loaves come out of it early enough to catch Wardens going up and citizens coming down.

Her son, seven-year-old *Cesco," was taught his numbers by Noname. On the morning of Maruk Grommarg's rite, the boy was sitting up on a crate at the stall counting the Fog Wardens on the wall out loud, getting it right, and beaming at her for it. Valentro, passing, took it badly — counting the Wardens on watch calls one away — but nobody corrected the boy, and Ottilia went on turning loaves out of the pan.
