A press floor, a short cellar, a tasting counter, and a room off the back where the owner lives. Lotan holds the lease, the living space included, and sells wines and meads in volume to taverns across the tiers under the Wine Merchants' Guild. The building has no working frontage on the canal side — which suits its owner.

The House Rule

Lotan does not lend and does not borrow. Anyone who needs coin is offered work on the press floor instead, and paid fairly for it. A rack of coins from a dozen ports is nailed to a ceiling beam; regulars add to it.

The Building

From Beyond Relief.

The place was an inn before Lotan held the lease. The ground floor is the winery proper and his own quarters. The few upstairs rooms have been converted into tasting rooms — except the one at the end of the hall, which is kept as Roxy's room whenever she uses it. She rarely does as she sleeps in the Tiered Gardens most nights.
